Sydney's first (?) T.G.I.M.B.O.E.J

Two posts within a span of one year! Sweet. Merciful. Christ. I'm absolutely dominating this whole blogging thing.

I came across The Great Internet Migratory Box of Electronics Junk quite a few years ago now, and the stars have finally aligned enough for us to start one.

I performed a workshop cleanup (and long overdue sorting and relabelling of component drawers), and in the process found lots of goodies from the former UltraKeet webstore, as well as selections of through-hole ICs and LEDs to form the first box.

Here's a pornographic snapshot of the box and contents so far:

Hurr Hurr. There's a dick-joke in there somewhere.

The first recipient will be Terry from the Robots and Dinosaurs Hackerspace (check out Terry's Google Plus page, and also his Impulse Noise Blog)

The box can be tracked on the T.G.I.M.B.O.E.J Box Tracking page (ID# Sydney-K01), and you can register your interest in receiving future boxes on the Box Requests page.

Stay safe!
